We are very fortunate to have a wide selection of Good Restaurants in Ilfracombe. They include Italian, Chinese, Seafood, Steaks, Spanish Tapas, Bistro's, Organic, Traditional Fayre, Indian and of course the seaside favourite Fish & Chips.

We have researched this subject thoroughly (obviously for the benefit of our guests!) So we believe we can offer you informed advice.

Traditional Italian Food served in this busy Restaurant. Pizza. Pasta, Meat, Fish and Vegetarian options available here. Reservations advised.



Chimes Bistro – St James Place
Fresh, local produce served by John an amazing chef. He takes great pride in his food serving an amazing Pork Belly, freshly caught fish, Burgers, Cajun Chicken. Tempura Prawns .and other specials. Outside seating available.

Bangladesh Authentic Cuisine. A wide variety of dishes are served here with friendly and helpful staff.

Specialising in local Fish, Seafood and Meat Dishes.

Brasserie housed in Ilfracombe’s old Police Station. Fine Dining using local produce.



Ilfracombe Fryer - Wilder Road
Traditional Fish and Chips. Eat in and watch the sunset or takeaway.



Harbour Lights
Licensed Restaurant serving Traditional English Food. Friendly staff.



No 6 St James
Traditional Good quality Pub style food served in a Bistro Setting. Outside Seating available.



Grassroots - High Street
Café Style serving excellent selection of Vegetarian Dishes. Not Licensed but allowed to take your own!!



The Thatched Inn
Hillsborough Road – Pub serving local produce and a varied menu choice. Good Ales Here.
